That line in Hamilton when Alexander Hamilton says, "I've seen injustice in the world and I've corrected it" stands out to me as one of the most powerful in the entire play. What if we want to live that kind of life but don't know where to start? I'd say, find the people out there doing the work and find ways to help. Today, I have one of those opportunities for you.
Jackie Faye and her organization, She Can Tri, are empowering women in Afghanistan to find movement as triathletes. Yes, women in triathlon in Afghanistan! In fact, two She Can Tri athletes, Zahra and Zeinab, are competing in Ironman 70.3 Dubai on February 7, 2020!
Join us to hear how She Can Tri came to be, catch a glimpse of life as a social activist in Afghanistan, be inspired by these fearless women, and learn how you can help!
