Vata dosha represents all things to do with movement, change, irregularity, roughness and dryness - like the wind and air elements it represents. This dosha becomes dominant in the Fall season though can become dominant in any of us based on our lifestyle and diet choices. In excess you may experience anxiety, worry, fear, dry skin, cold limbs, trouble sleeping, digestive issues and overwhelm. Balanced you may experience creativity, inspiration, clarity, a sense of ease, lightness and flexibility in your day to day life. This class will teach you more about how to increase or decrease vata dosha in your yoga practice. As Ayurveda teaches anything can be a poison or a medicine and Vata dosha is just one of many variables we can work with in yoga and in our daily lives.
