In todays episode I interview former Australian swimming champion and 3 time Olympic medallist Andrew Lauterstein. Andy took home 3 medals at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. He also won Gold at the 2007 World Champs in Melbourne, a bronze at the World Champs in Rome in 2009 and a Gold at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006. It’s fair to say that this guest knows what it takes to train and perform at the highest level as an athlete which is why I wanted to get him on today to talk about the differences between training and performing as a professional athlete vs training and performing as a recreational athlete. Andy is currently juggling a growing family and 4 thriving businesses one called ENGINE which is my favourite performance apparel and swimwear brand! As well as 3 swim schools New Wave Swim School in Frankston, Mentone Aquatic in Mentone and Korowa Aquatics in Glen Iris plus he is a keen recreational athlete keeping fit with swimming and gym every chance he gets. Join myself and Andy as we discover the inner athlete with us all…
