Brett August talks to Jacob Rozbruch, MD, a prominent Orthopedic Surgeon in Manhattan with Mt. Sinai Hospital (and "Uncle Jack" to Brett's wife, Alison). Jack grew up in Brooklyn after emigrating from Italy with his parents – both Holocaust survivors – and younger brother, Alfie in 1953. In the 1950s-60s, the Catskills bungalow colonies provided a safe, welcoming and carefree summer home for his family, like it did for many other Jewish immigrants who had lost their families in the old country.
