Writing is one of the most powerful things you can do to heal and grow. Having just penned a book on relationships (coming spring 2024) with my incredible friend and host of the Next Level Human podcast, Dr. Jade Teta, we’re taking you behind the scenes to explain the whirlwind physical and emotional process of writing an entire book in just 9 days.

But we’re not just talking about outlines, story arcs and editing (although we do get into all that). Here, Jade and I are preparing you for the highly emotional, vulnerable and cathartic experience of writing - whether it’s a book or in the privacy of your journal. This book writing process forced us to confront old wounds and traumas, and brought out aspects of ourselves we weren't even aware of.

BTW…you can read more details about the book in this Instagram post.

In this episode, Jade and I are talking about:

  • How to write a book
  • Why writing is a powerful tool for self-development and healing
  • How to heal from past relationship pain
  • Achieving personal growth through relationships
  • Overcoming self-doubt and imposter syndrome
  • The courage it takes to let readers into your insecurities
  • How to structure a complete story
  • Jade’s dedicated time structure for writing a book

Have you ever written or thought about writing a book? I’d love to know your takeaways from this incredible episode with Dr. Jade Teta. Email me or send me a DM on Instagram @emilygoughcoach
