Hey there and welcome back to the University of Adversity podcast. Thank you so much for tuning in today.

I'm excited to bring on an old friend of mine, Ryan Hickey, who I met back in 2008. Ryan has since gone on to do some cool things in the nutrition space and specifically helping men in their thirties lose their gut and become physically capable by learning what to eat.

During our conversation, we talked about misconceptions around weight gain, trauma, and metaphysical stuff. Ryan has a scientific, evidence-based approach to nutrition, which he shares with us, and we unpacked a lot in this conversation.
