There are no resources for shelter dogs with terminal illnesses. Too often dogs are simply proclaimed “too sick” and are put down. Michele Allen decided to put a stop to this. Join us as Michele discusses her hospice for shelter dogs, Monkey’s House, named after the pup who inspired her to care for the sick dogs no one else wanted to adopt. She has learned the simple methods to completely revitalize a dog that may seem too old or sick. And she is here to share the power of diet, enrichment, and exercise that can truly make a difference. She knows she is not going to cure her dogs but she will fight for them till the very end.
